Judging Appointments
The
Luccombe
Kennel
was
first
started
in
1971
by
my
Mum
Irene
Haywood
and
after
a
few
years
her
passion
for
all
things
"Dalmatian"
had
rubbed
off
on
me
and
I
was
given
a
joint
interest
in
the
kennels.
I
first
started
judging
the
breed
in
the
early
1980s,
officiating
a
small
"Open"
shows
etc.
I
progressed
up
the
judging
ladder
and
was
awarded
"A1"
list
Championship
show
judge
status
by
the
Kennel
Club
in
around
1990.
I
first
awarded
Challenge
Certificates
(the
highest
award
at
a
Championship
show)
in
1991
and
have
since
awarded
them
seven
times
at
various
Canine
Society
shows.
I
was
selected
to
be
one
of
the
three
judges
at
the
North
of
England
Dalmatian
Club's
prestigious
"Dalmatian
of
the Year" event for 2007 which is held in January 2008 an appointment which I thoroughly enjoyed
